Ch. Yelin Miniel van Isollojach (18-11-2003) - Pedigree
Yelin is a Seal Point Thai female and born from a nest of three kittens out of Mini and Farao. Besides Yelin there was a seal point brother and a chocolate point sister named Praline. Praline will stay with her mother Mini. Yelin is the new kitten of my mother. After a year of kittensitting Arwen and Murron she wanted a kitten of her own, next to the older godfathers, and preferably a daughter of Farao. Friday the 13th my mother picked her up from Bleiswijk. First she visited a friend, Henriëtte, where Yelin could stretch her legs, the ginger cats of Henriëtte did not give her any attention at all. Then Yelin arrived at her new home. The first hour she stayed inside her travelbox. Guest Murron (my brother's Tonkinese) watched her with curiosity. After my mother put Yelin in her fluffy basket (with the smell of home) Murron kept on looking at her from the floor. When my mother went to the kitchen Murron attacked Yelin, lots of screaming and up to three times Murron went at her like a fury. Then the two ladies were seperated. Yelin meets everyone with hissing and growling, sweet oldie Basha who wouldn't hurt (can't in fact) a fly as well. Osiris hisses back and avoids her. In my mother's bedroom Yelin is very playful and talkative. She responds to calling with a soft meowing and is very affectionate. She's a cute kitten and has the same goatee her father Farao. After 3 days Yelin looks at herself in the mirror and hisses at her own image. We hope she will get adjusted to the boys soon (Murron is at my brother's place now). Yelin's full name is Yelin Miniel van Isollojach, Yelin means "winter" and Miniel "daughter of Mini", both in Quenya. Van Isollojach is the catteryname of Marianne Jongeneel and is composed from the names of her five children: Isabel, Olivier, Lodewijk, Jacques and Charlotte if I remembered it correctly.
