The Godfathers - Osiris (31-10-1994 - 20-11-2007) - pedigree
We are very sad that our sweet gorgeous boy Osiris is no longer with us. He will be very missed by us all, but especially by my mother and his harem (Yelin, Dess and Aranel). Bye sweet hunk of mine.
Osiris is a beautiful chocolate point male from 1994. His head is somewhat sharper than Basha's, but not as sharp as the modern Siamese. He's a big guy, a good 5 kilos, and he looks tough but can be the sweetest now and then. He doesn't like being held, but he will roll on the floor when he wants attention. Then you have to itch him roughly and he loves it. Sometimes he'll sit on your lap, but you have to sit still or he'll just leave again. After Shiwa died Osiris is the boss around the house and Basha doesn't mind at all. Oosje sometimes has strange ways to get your attention, he iwll stand up against the sliding door to the garden and tramples with his front paws against the window blinds. That makes quite some noise and he won't stop until you let him go outside. When he wants to go inside again he does the same thing against the glass of the sliding door or the window, which are then "washed", dirty paws all over. If he believes you sleep in to long so he doesn't get his food or can't go outside he'll just slap you until you are awake.

When Arwen came into the house he didn't like it at first, but after a week he'd stay put if Arwen was chasing around the room, before that he'd get the hell out. Arwen liked Osiris a lot and kept on attacking him, biting him in the bum etc. Eventually Osiris started playing with her. When he's had enough of it he wants to go outside where she cannot bother him. We made Arwen a scratching post of wood with Tredford (carpet) glued on it and Oos really liked to hang on it as well. It didn't take him long to jump to the platform on top (we fed Arwen her kittenfood on it, so the boys couldn't eat it). Mark wanted a scratching post for Murron as well and then we made one for Osiris too. He just loves it, sitting up that high. His post is more luxureous than the girls', because it has two platforms to sit on, which is fun if you want to hit eachother. He tries to fend of those wild ladies, but he does not always succeed. they chased him away from his favourite place, the TV. He used to lie on top of it, but now Arwen or Murron does.
