Considering Tabby points it's more complicated, this is because the agouti gene isn't the only gene that plays a part in this, the gene for Tabby pattern (gene T) plays a part as well. This Tabby gene can, in combination with Agouti (A), take care of four different Tabby patterns: Abyssinian pattern (Ta), Mackerel (Tm), Spotted (Ts), and Blotched (Tb). In case of a Tabby Point Siamese the only visible stripes are those on the points, which pattern it is can't be seen. It is not that clear either how a combination of two Tabby alleles works out and what the resulting Tabby pattern is. I won't go into that any further, all that matters is that allele A (Agouti) is dominant over allele a (non-agouti), this means that the cat is a Tabby point if it has only one allele A. In the next tables I will use an abbreviation again for clarity, T means a cat has two Agouti alleles (AA) and t means that the cat has one Agouti allele and one non-agouti allele (Aa).
