June 2007 Chablis has found her place in our household. She's best friends with Cambë and with Rien. Rien is her favourite human besides me (but who's first human in her eyes I can't say). The feeling is mutual because Rien adores Chablis as well. Chablis has a few peculiar habits, she got them from her mother. She will moan when you pick her up, very softly, it sounds very funny. She's also got a robotic tail as we call it, she moves it like a slow robot. When I told her breeder Amy about this she told me that her mother Sophia does this as well. We hope she will get into heat soon, so she can make kittens with Fenumë.

August 2006 Evinea Chablis was born at Christmas 2005 in Florida, USA with my dear friend Amy Adolph of Evinea Cattery.Her father is Auxchaton Beringer of Evinea, a seal point stud and her mother is Sophia Merlot, a blue point queen. Chablis' ancestors primarily come from American lines, and amongst her great grandparents there are also recent imports from Thailand (the country where the Siamese was discovered by the West a century ago, Cristy Bird of Sarsenstone Cattery has imported two Siamese from Thailand in 2001, born in different catteries there).
On July 10th 2006 I jumped on an airplane with Eärwen Elvëa Mëoi and flew to Florida. I brought Eärwen to Amy, had a vacation in the USA since I don't have the opportunity to travel that much, in the meantime Eärwen fell in love with Beringer and is having a good time with him. Three weeks later I flew home with Evinea Chablis. Both cats (Eärwen towards the USA as well as Chablis towards the Netherlands) behaved perfectly on the airplane, they were in a travelbag under the seat in the cabin.
In the past weeks Chablis has been adjusting to the cathoushold here, she's adapting just fine. She is a very sweet and beautiful girl with a very soft coat. Below are some photos made in July 2006 when she was still living in the United States.
