Anarinya is a kitten from Arwen's first litter and thus the beginning of the Elvëa Mëoi line. For her adventures from birth (even before) until the departure of her brothers and sister please see the Kittens page!
Anarinya is a beautiful girl with a nice eye colour and a cute face. I am very curious how she will blossom in the future. She will attend cat shows once in a while so I can hear a judge's opinion of her, they are more likely to look at my little girl than I can. I think she's wonderful of course, I know her from the beginning of her life and she has already wrapped me around her pretty claws.....
In over a year's time she's allowed to
think of motherhood, before then I am just going to enjoy her
presence!
After a month Anarinya and Gloriana are just like sisters, it took a while, in the beginning Anarinya did not want anything to do with that strange kittie. Gloriana used to run away when Anarinya wanted to play, or she's come and sit on my lap to hide, chicken, but that's all over now. Both girls are good fighters now, chasing eachother, throwing stuff on the floor, the usual. They usually sleep together as well, and I am very glad, I had hoped they'd be best friends of course, they only differ 12 days in age, and it worked. Arwen still acts cranky sometimes (it could be because of her birthcontroll pill) but both Anarinya as well as Gloriana let her. The differences between the girls is also obvious, Anarinya is a bit sturdier and has a rounder head. There is also a difference in their coat, Anarinya's is more fluffy and Gloriana has a very silky smooth coat, very short too. It shows her muscles very well, beautifully I might add. Gloriana is also a bit more affectionate, Anarinya has to be convinced to come and cuddle, but when you scratch her behind her tail she just loves it and purrrrrs. Anarinya's eyecolour is less intense in colour than it was two months ago, which is normal, but her eyes are still nice.
July 2004 Anarinya is becoming a big
girl now. She is six months old already and almost as big
(ehm...small) as her mother Arwen. She is best friends with
Gloriana, those two are always together. Anarinya is a big
cuddler, I only have to look at her and she will start to purr and
roll around so I can pet her. Fortunately have Anarinya's whiskers
grown back. Arwen bit the whiskers short when all the kittens were
still here, she stopped when the other kittens moved out (she
closed the milk bar then as well). Anarinya now has beautiful
whiskers just like her mother Arwen.
